Neville Terrace in Royal Tunbridge Wells is Victorian-era terraced housing that had fallen into a state of disrepair. However, with help from Beau Property developers, the property is back to its former glory and known as Neville Row.
Beau Property took on the challenge and the result is so impressive that the development was shortlisted ‘best restoration project’, while it was also named one of the ‘Lustworthy homes of the week’ in the Sunday Times. The development was also given an award from the Royal Tunbridge wells Civic Society.
Restoring Original Features
Beau Property Developers wanted the historic property to retain as many of its original features, which helped make for stunning results. Victorian tiled paths help serve as a reminder of the property’s history, while the double-glazed timber sash windows also help keep the original aesthetics while offering modern functionality.
And while the beautiful exteriors are quite clearly from the Victorian era, the interiors are modern and luxurious, making for a wonderful blend of history and modern opulence. This combination of traditional styling and modern designs helps make for wonderful aesthetics while providing the benefits that modern fittings offer.
The Neville Row development consists of eight, two bedroomed terraced houses. These spacious, luxurious properties are designed to be bright and roomy, helped by large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The properties are also tastefully appointed, with luxury-fitted kitchens and bathrooms and tasteful furniture and fittings throughout.
No expense has been spared in decorating the property, with only the best materials and craftsmanship used throughout the redevelopment. Beautiful built-in wardrobes help enhance the stunning aesthetics of these homes, while traditional timber mouldings add a further reminder of this property’s rich and long history.
The kitchens have been expertly fitted in Copse Green and Cashmere, with integrated appliances that help make the kitchens as practical as they are stunning. The kitchens and bathrooms also follow the general theme of bright, open spaces supported with complementary colour schemes that help add to the roomy feel.
Wonderfully Appointed Windows
These homes have been created with luxury in mind and with an eye for detail, with quality furniture and fittings throughout. However, while these homes ooze opulence overall, the windows in particular really help to make Neville Row in such high demand.
Beau Property Developers teamed up with doors and glazing specialist Timbertherm Windows for doors and windows that complemented the properties beautifully. Timbertherm was chosen for its fine reputation of delivering bespoke windows and doors that will complement even the most magnificent properties.
Not only do the windows look fantastic, but they are also made with the finest craftsmanship so they will function perfectly and last for many years to come. Timbertherm used only the best materials available, and was able to combine the latest glazing technology like modern insulation and sealing with Victorian-era aesthetics for stunning results. Timbertherm also used traditional vertical sliding windows, helping to maintain the traditional feel of the property as well as ensuring the windows are practical and easy to use.
